Between Us, vol 18
More of what made my packing cut for London, June's top sellers, a fun new community giveaway, and the weekend sales I'm actually shopping.
This newsletter is too long to be viewed via email so be sure to download the Substack app to view it properly.

Hello friends and happy 4th of July! 🇺🇸
What a way for the weekend to start than with the news that the American royals, Travis & Taylor, tied the knot! I know some of you may completely care less so, I’ll keep this short but, wow! I’m so surprised — Madison Square Garden and under a Mars=Uranus conjunctions which, if you’re not into astrology might not make any sense but it’s definitely a choice — but, considering her level of celebrity, need / desire for security, and significant financial means, I guess maybe it does make a lot of sense. As long as she’s happy!!! That’s all that matters!
Also, Wimbledon! I have been loving watching all of the matches while I slowly start getting the littles packed for our trip. It’s so fun that we’ll be nearing the final when we arrive in the UK so we get to enjoy some of the fun pop-up’s that are currently all set up around the city.
Have any of you been watching the World Cup? I’m excited that we’re finally getting down to a much smaller number of teams now. I hope the U.S. can really pull through and make it close to the end. I don’t mean to be a Debbie Downer — I will keep cheering for them, of course! — but, I don’t think they’ll make it to the very end but it’s fun seeing them go as far as they have!
Okay, I’m keeping it a little shorter than usual considering I’m sure you have holiday plans you’re keen to get to but, here’s what I have for you guys in today’s newsletter:

Top Sellers for June
It always makes me smile to see what resonated with all of you each month! Here are June's best sellers — clearly we're all in our "look polished without trying too hard" era.
Target Wedges
These raffia wedges are definitely going in my suitcase for the UK. They have that classic espadrille look that works with everything from sundresses to denim, but they’re surprisingly comfortable and come in at a price point that feels almost too good to be true. If you’ve been looking for an easy summer shoe that looks far more expensive than it is, this is it.
Target Sweater
This American Flag Sweater is lightweight enough for cool summer evenings but substantial enough to throw over your shoulders or pair with denim once autumn rolls around. It’s one of those versatile basics you’ll find yourself reaching for far more often than you expect.

Rhinestone Jelly Flats
I genuinely think these are one of this summer’s smartest purchases. They’re playful without feeling juvenile, comfortable enough for long days of walking, and happen to be incredibly practical for everything from rainy days to beach holidays. They also give a subtle nod to the nostalgic jelly shoes many of us grew up wearing—but in a much chicer way.
SPANX White Shorts
Finding a great pair of white shorts can feel nearly impossible, but SPANX somehow nailed it. They have just enough structure to feel polished, the fabric is substantial (read: not see-through), and they’re incredibly flattering without feeling restrictive. An easy staple you’ll wear year after year.
Tuckernuck Sleeveless Polo Dress
If I had to choose one dress to throw on all summer long, this polo dress would be high on the list. It’s effortlessly polished, incredibly comfortable, and works just as well with sneakers for sightseeing as it does with sandals or wedges for lunch or dinner. It’s one of those pieces that makes getting dressed wonderfully easy.
What I’m Packing For Our Trip to the UK
polo dress | yellow tortoise sunnies | brown natural beaded necklace | long-sleeve linen maxi dress | stripe boxy tee | classic cashmere cardigan [color: peach] | stripe crew neck sweater | linen sleeveless swing dress | white babydoll swing tank | brown printed trousers | milky tortoise sunnies | the driver loafer | raffia tote | ivory bailey dress | raffia wedges
Sadly, I didn’t love this dress and this striped top … and these milky tortoise frames won’t make it in time but, everything else is p a c k e d!

the rothy’s driver in snapdragon
There are quite a few other neutral base layers and fun pops of color so be sure to follow along on Instagram to catch all of the looks I brought along. The gals in my Insiders’ Chat will be getting first look and access to links to the daily outfits whilst in the UK. We’ll also be taking a look at quite a few hotels so I’m excited to share more about those in the coming weeks, as well.
I tried on a few of the pieces above in a few looks in this post so be sure to check them out!
Weekend Sales To Note
Anthropologie: 40% Off
Last week, we were spoiled with 20% off site-wide and now, up to 40% off some of their best departments: home decor, furniture, candles, bedding, and more!
gingham dresser | dachshund blanket holder | printed articulated task sconce | cotton floral coverlet | cotton floral euro shams | embroidered table runner | portuguese side plates | bronze pitcher | linen bed pillows | bronzer ‘bonjour’ plate | floral emblem wall mirror
Anthropologie really never disappoints when they have an incredible sale. The selection is always top notch and this weekends’ sale is no different. The coverlet and euro shams I just purchased for our bed are included along with so many other incredible home finds. There are a select few Hotel Lobby candles included, too!
Hill House Home: Semi-Annual Sale
They are offering an additional 20% off some of their most popular styles that are already marked down. I couldn’t believe it. The Cosimia, which I’ve been eyeing for ages, is marked down to just under $200 which, for Hill House, is quite good.
More of my picks are HERE.
Beis: Up to 20% off bundled sets this weekend!
Cuyana: Archive Sale, up to 60% off select items
J.Crew: Up to 40% off select cashmere
Rothys: End of Season Sale, extra 20% off
Okay, I am off to enjoy the holiday with my boys and some friends! Happy 4th! Thanks for stopping by!
x H.

I bought the quarter zip Americana sweater when you first posted - love it. I also am living for the London and Cotswold content soon to come. I will love vicariously though until I can manage a trip!
I love the Americana sweater! I think I’m finally ready to pull the trigger on the purchase! It’ll be perfect for late evenings and at night later in the year.
